DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub orders in one screen

Three delivery tablets on the counter means three places to watch and three ways to miss an order. We built it so delivery-app orders come in on their own and land in the same carry-out list as phone and walk-in orders.

How delivery orders flow

  • DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub orders come in automatically, with nobody retyping them
  • Each one shows its source and the app's order ID, in one carry-out list with phone and walk-in orders
  • They go to the kitchen display like any other ticket, with minutes open and a bump for each item
  • Staff open the check and mark it ready from the same screen as every other carry-out
  • The daily report splits the day by tables, bar, and carry-out, with discounts, comps, voids, tips, and tax

Built for a real restaurant

We built this for Royal Cantonese, the family restaurant in Mundelein where Blueframe's founder grew up working, as part of a full rebuild of its ordering. The restaurant has since closed. The screens below use test orders.

Royal Cantonese carry-out screen: phone orders waiting for staff review, and DoorDash, Uber Eats, and walk-in orders below
One carry-out list: phone orders up top, then DoorDash, Uber Eats, and walk-in orders with their order IDs.
Royal Cantonese kitchen display: tickets for dine-in tables and carry-out orders with minutes open and a bump button on each item
Every order, wherever it came from, shows on the kitchen display the same way.

How a project runs

  1. Step 1

    Free scope review

We look at how work moves through your business today and agree on a fixed scope, price, and timeline before any code is written.

  2. Step 2

Build in 2 to 4 weeks

We build in a fixed window. You see progress every week, and the scope doesn't drift.

  3. Step 3

    Launch and tune

We launch, walk your team through it, and tune it through the first weeks of real use.

Questions owners ask

Do delivery orders still need to be typed in?
No. At Royal Cantonese they came in on their own, tagged with the app and its order ID, and went to the kitchen like any other ticket.
Can phone and walk-in orders go in the same list?
Yes. Phone, walk-in, and delivery-app orders share one carry-out screen, so the counter watches one place.
Does it work with the POS I already have?
At Royal Cantonese it fed the point of sale we built. If you want to keep yours, we check in the free scope review whether it can take these orders in.
