A membership program for your auto repair shop

A membership turns one-time customers into ones who come back, and pays you before the work comes in. We build the whole program into your site: customers join and pay online, carry their card in the portal, and the counter sees every member.

How the program works

  • Two plans: an annual membership paid once, and a monthly one billed to the card on file through Stripe
  • Customers join online with their name, email, phone, and card. New customers get their portal account set up as they join
  • Your counter can add a membership to a customer who signs up in person
  • Members carry a card in the portal with their plan, member ID, and active-through or next billing date
  • Member-only offers live in the portal: members claim them and get a code to show at the counter. Non-members see what they would get by joining
  • Monthly members can cancel from the portal, and it ends at the close of the period they paid for
  • The counter sees member counts on the dashboard and a members list split by plan, and can export customers with their plan to a spreadsheet

Built for a working shop

We built this program for Colonial Auto Repair, an independent shop in the Chicago area where Blueframe's founder works in management. The screens below use test customers.

Colonial Auto Repair customer portal: a Colonial Club member card and member-only offers to claim
The member side: a card with the plan and member ID, and member-only offers to claim.
Colonial Auto Repair staff portal: members split into annual and monthly, each with contact details, paid-through date, and member ID (test customers)
The counter's side: every member by plan, with contact details and member ID.

How a project runs

  1. Step 1

    Free scope review

We look at how work moves through your business today and agree on a fixed scope, price, and timeline before any code is written.

  2. Step 2

Build in 2 to 4 weeks

We build in a fixed window. You see progress every week, and the scope doesn't drift.

  3. Step 3

    Launch and tune

We launch, walk your team through it, and tune it through the first weeks of real use.

Questions owners ask

What should a shop membership include?
Whatever brings your customers back at a margin you can live with. Our guide below walks through what shops include and how to price it.
How do members pay?
Online by card. The annual plan is charged once, and the monthly plan bills the card on file each month until the member cancels.
Does it work with my shop management software?
It runs alongside it. Memberships live in your customer portal, and your team keeps writing repair orders where it does today.
What does it cost?
A membership program is part of a customer portal build, which starts at $8,000. The free scope review sets a fixed price before any work starts.
